Alert: TIMONEY 3 ACQUITTED!

06 Apr 2004: Camilo Vivieros, Darby Landy and Eric Steinberg were acquitted of all charges on the 2nd day of a trial stalled by prosecutors for almost 4 years. Indymedia video evidence reportedly contradicted Chief Timoney's testimony of property damage and assaults on police.

02/05/03 11:03AM ET - From R2K Legal: Legal Statistics have been updated. The Timoney 3 are the last cases to go to trial, currently set for Feb. 18, 2003. In 96% of cases, activists have either been aquitted or accepted non-conviction plea bargains.
